Find a list of customers on the Order Search page. Click the leftmost Excel icon, and download the spreadsheet. If you like, you can remove unwanted columns first to save time during import.
For Mailchimp:
- Go to Lists and choose a list.
- Click its down-arrow and choose Import.
- Make sure CSV is selected, and click Next.
- Attach your spreadsheet, and click Next.
- Match columns. You may want all of these:
email
bill_fname
bill_lname
bill_phone
- Click Next, then Import. (It will warn you about duplicates, where one customer placed multiple iTickets orders. Empty rows appear as “syntax errors.”)
For Constant Contact:
- Go to Contacts, then Add Contacts > Upload from file.
- Attach your spreadsheet. Constant Contact will try to auto-match columns.
- You may want to remove/skip these:
event_city
cc_last4
notes
(maybe)- You may want to keep these:
bill_fname
bill_lname
bill_phone
- address columns beginning with
‘bill_’
- Click “skip unmatched” and Continue.
- Choose a list and Upload. (You’ll see account activity, with this newly completed import at the top.)
