Hidden Events

There are two ways to hide or unhide an event from searches on the iTickets website.

Event Create Form

When creating an event select the "private event" checkbox at the bottom of the form.

Overview Page

After an event is created, on the Overview page under "Settings," find the checkbox labelled "Include event in iTickets searches?" Adjust this as desired and click Save.

Further Measures

In some rare cases, hidden events may still appear on third-party websites. This often happens because an event was public for some time before it was hidden — long enough that the web address was cached by a search engine like Google.

If this becomes a major issue for your event, there are two options:

1. Request that iTickets delete the event. Note: events with ticket sales cannot be deleted.
2. Disable the event page. On the Overview page under "Settings," find the checkbox labelled "Enable event page?" Disable this and click Save. This will block traffic to the event page from all sources, no matter who they are.
