If you already have a Stripe account: To use the Stripe reader you need to upgrade your account to an iTICKETS Stripe connect account. The account is still managed by Stripe, the upgrade will allow you to “connect” terminal readers to iTICKETS box office.
If you do not yet have a Stripe account: you can set one up using the process below. (i.e. You do not need to go make one with Stripe first.)
Step 1: Attach/Create your Stripe Account
Go to iTICKETS Boxoffice and go to the Admin menu > Stripe Payments
IMPORTANT: Be sure to log into iTickets Box Office with the iTickets account you want this processor attached to;
- If you have multiple iTickets accounts and aren’t sure which one to use, let us know.

If you already have a Stripe account, this does not need to be the same email you used to create your Stripe account.
Click the Register Button
When you see the page below you are connecting to Stripe directly through our website.
IMPORTANT: If you already have a Stripe account be sure to use your STRIPE account login email. (i.e. Do not use your iTickets Box Office email login unless you want to create a NEW Stripe account to use or they are one in the same.)
Step 2: Attach the new Connect account to each event
For each event go to Manage Event > Payments > Payment Gateway > Card Not Present and select the correct processor. Note: You do NOT need to set Card Present, leave as None.

Step 3: Test & Notify iTickets that you are finished
Let us know once you have activated your Stripe Connect upgrade. We will review the setup and send instructions for testing the upgrade.
NOTE: To finalize we will ask you to process an order with a credit card and confirm the funds are accessible in your bank account. *It can take up to a week for Stripe to deposit processed funds in your bank account.
Step 4: Update the Time Zone
Go to Stripe Settings > Business > Time Zone and adjust it to EST.
Stripe defaults to UTC time, which is five hours ahead of Eastern Time. Box Office records all transactions on Eastern Time. This will allow you to more easily reconcile transactions in Box Office with your bank and search transactions.
